Fractal Analysis of Tunnel Structural Damage Caused by High-Temperature and Explosion Impact

نویسندگان

چکیده

The tunnel is one of the most important components in modern underground engineering. Due to long and narrow shape constraints, it very easily results large-scale fire explosion when deflagration caused by accidents vehicles that transport dangerous goods tunnel. Previously, studies on damage lining high-temperature impacts these kinds disasters were often limited a discussion only influencing factor, either or explosion, but they rarely considered two factors simultaneously. In this work, properties full-size induced high temperature impact evaluated, concrete samples from whole arch selected for CT scanning. improved differential box-counting method was used fractal analysis images obtain damage-distribution structure under coupled factors: fire, deflagration.

consequence analysis of the leakage, ignition and explosion during high pressure sour gas injection process to the oil reservoir

there is no doubt that human being needs to become integrated with industry and industry needs to be progressed, daily. on the other hand, serious events in industrial units specially in oil industries has been shown that such damages and events are industry related ones. the consequence of such events and damages which resulted in chemical and poisoned explosions and loss of life and property ...

Assessment of Subsurface Explosion caused by Tunnel Construction in Urban Areas

Nowadays, tunneling in urban areas is a common activity for a variety of transportations such as subways, water supply, lifelines andsewers that may require blast operations. The characteristics of stress waves of the blast are quite different from earthquake waves. The blast waves are usually of high frequency content, short duration, equality of amplitudes in horizontal and vertical direction...

Structural Damage Caused by Impulsive Loads: A Theoretical Analysis

A general theoretical technique is presented for the estimation of structural damage caused by impulsive loads. The technique, though approximate, takes account of differences that may exist between the elastic and plastic modes of deformation. A detailed analysis, with some numerical results, is presented for the case when the impulsive load is a uniformly distributed pressure whose magnitude ...
